Feargal Duignan – CEO

PacSana provides critical insight and understanding of our user’s movement and health status. PacSana uses a combination of sensors and expert systems to monitor critical user data and predict possible health events. This data is shared with the user and their carers through our smartphone app.

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the vulnerability of our older population. News of COVID-19 outbreaks in nursing and care homes has increased the need for new and innovative ways to care for our senior citizens. Early figures reported that Nursing or Care Homes accounted for 50% of coronavirus deaths.

How PacSana can aid in the fight against Covid-19:

In-Home Monitoring

Our wearable sensors can be placed on high risk patients upon discharge or shipped directly to the patient’s home.

Increase Hospital & ICU Capacity

By monitoring, managing, and engaging with patients who are known/suspected of being infected by COVID-19 from their home. PacSana can help keep more patients out of hospitals, and hence freeing up beds.

Protect Healthcare Staff

Healthcare staff & In-home care nurses can remotely monitor the patient’s body temperature and blood oxygen levels using the PacSana Temp Pal® sensor and Oximeter – SPo2 that are both linked to the PacSana App.
